Kean University has partnered with Okta, a world leader in identity and access management (IAM), to provide a seamless and secure login experience to Kean resources and services.

How do I enroll?
Enrolling your device in Okta only takes a few steps. Visit https://sso.kean.edu to begin the enrollment process, we suggest using a device other than your mobile phone as you will need to download the Okta Verify / Google Authenticator app and scan a QR code during this process. You'll be greeted with a sign-in page and will need to enter your Kean username (Kean Google Email ID) and password.

After you have logged in, you will be prompted to set up your mobile device as your second authentication factor using Okta Verify or Google Authenticator. Please note that you only have to enroll in one (of the two) options. However, if you own multiple mobile devices and would like to log in using either device, enroll in Okta Verify on one device, and Google Authenticator on the other.
NOTE: if you are using Okta Verify or Google Authenticator and you get a new mobile device, you MUST call the OCIS Help Desk (908-737-6000) to have them clear those factors so that you can do a fresh setup of the app/s on your new phone.

After you've enrolled your device you will need to choose a security image on the enrollment webpage you began the process from.
Click the security image you'd like to use and then select "Create My Account". You have now successfully set up your Okta account!
