Classroom Types: Lite Room & Smart Room
(steps and procedures to properly operate each room type)

Lite Room
(East Campus, STEM, GLAB, NAAB, CAS, Hennings & Hutchinson)
- Press the “ON” button from the wall control panel.
- Connect your laptop via “VGA w/audio” or “HDMI” cable.
- After completing these four (2) steps, you should now have a successful connection for both Audio and Visual needs within the Lite style room.
- Finally, press and hold the “Off” button to shut the system down.
Smart Room
(Hennings, Hutchinson, Bruce & Science)
(NOTE: this room type includes a smart board with digital pens. DO NOT use dry erase markers)
- Press the “ON” button from the wall control panel.
- Connect your laptop via “VGA w/audio” or “HDMI” cable.
- Depending on the cable choice you would have to change the source on the projector by pressing the “source” button on the wall control panel.
- Use the digital pens from the box on the white board to write on the board if that is the function you would prefer
