How to connect to eduroam on a MAC?

What is EDUROAM?


Eduroam (education roaming) is a free and encrypted worldwide roaming wireless service that allows University students, faculty, staff, and visitors from other participating institutions to connect securely to the Internet.

How do I connect to EDUROAM?


Many people will be able to connect by using the Macs built-in menus.

  1. Go to the Apple icon located at the top left of your screen
  2. Click on System Settings
  3. Click Wi-Fi on the left side of the window




4. Make sure WiFi is on and select Eduroam from the list of available WiFi networks.

Click on Connect

5.  You will be prompted for a Username and password. 

  • Username: yourusername@yourcollege.edu
  • Password: enter your password
  • To Connect, Press Join

6. Click Continue to authenticate the connection
