How to connect eduroam on an Apple device

What is EDUROAM?


Eduroam (education roaming) is a free and encrypted worldwide roaming wireless service that allows University students, faculty, staff, and visitors from other participating institutions to connect securely to the Internet.

How do I connect to EDUROAM?


Many people will be able to connect using the built-in iPhone menus.


1. Go to your Settings on your phone.

2. Press on the Wi-Fi setting

3. Ensure Wi-Fi is on and select eduroam from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.


4.  You will be prompted for a Username and password. 

  • Username: yourusername@yourcollege.edu
  • Password: enter your password
  • To Connect, Press Join

5. Select Trust to authenticate the connection.
