1. Ensure that the device you are using to register is connected to Kean’s network – CougarNet, KUAIR or Wired network.
2. Click on this link to access the Self-Registration Portal or open your preferred web browser (e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox) and go to https://knet-xnac.kean.edu/self_registration
3. Log into the self-registration portal using your Kean username and password.
4. After logging in, you will see a page that lists all the devices already registered to your account.
5. To add a new device, click “Add”, then enter your device’s MAC Address (e.g. 00:25:96:12:34:56) in the MAC address field. Also, provide a description of the device (for example, "xbox").
6. Click “Submit” and it will return to the page that lists the devices associated with your account.
7. If you have reached the maximum number of allowed device registrations, an alert will appear. Click “Ok”, then select a device(s) and click “Delete” to remove it from your account. You can then proceed to add a new device.
