A PST (Personal Storage Table) file is an Outlook data file that stores emails, contacts, calendar items, and other data. Here's how to open one:
For Outlook 2016, 2019, 2021, or Microsoft 365:
- Open Microsoft Outlook

Go to the File menu
- Click on "File" in the top-left corner

Open & Export
- Click "Open & Export"
- Select "Open Outlook Data File"

Browse for your PST file
- Navigate to the location where your PST file is saved
- Select the PST file
- Click "OK"

Access the data
- The PST file will appear in your folder pane on the left side of Outlook
- You can now browse emails, contacts, and other items within the file
