Microsoft 365 User Agreement

By accessing Microsoft 365 services provided by Kean University, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Eligibility: Access to Microsoft 365 services, including but not limited to Office applications, OneDrive, and Teams, is contingent upon having an active affiliation with Kean University as a student, faculty, or staff member.
  2. Use of Services: Users are permitted to use Microsoft 365 services for academic, educational, and University-business purposes in accordance with Kean University's Acceptable Use Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Data Management: Users are responsible for managing their data stored in Microsoft 365 services, including documents stored in OneDrive. Graduating students are advised to transfer their documents to a personal storage solution as access to Microsoft 365 services will be revoked shortly after graduation.
  4. Compliance: Users must comply with all applicable university policies, including but not limited to data security and confidentiality policies, while using Microsoft 365 services.
  5. Termination of Access: Access to Microsoft 365 services will be terminated upon graduation or cessation of a student, faculty, or staff affiliation with Kean University.
  6. Acceptance: By accessing Microsoft 365 services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

Failure to comply with these terms may result in the termination of access to Microsoft 365 services and disciplinary action by the university.

Kean University IT reserves the right to modify or update this agreement at any time without prior notice.
